Vegan Breakfast | French Toast

Hello, how is everyone doing these days? I hope you are all well. Recently, I’ve been craving traditional French toast, but as we know, a vegan diet excludes eggs and dairy products. I came across a simple recipe that uses silken tofu as a substitute for eggs. It’s easy to make, and you can find all the ingredients at your local supermarket. Without further ado, let’s get cooking!

內容目錄

Ingredient

4 slices of thick white toast

2 tbsp vegetable oil

150g Soy milk

75g silken Tofu

25g Maple Syrup or Rice Syrup

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp cinnamon

pitch salt

Method

  1. In the blender, combine soy milk, silken tofu, maple syrup, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt, then blend until smooth.
  2. Place the thick white toast on the tray or plate, and pour the mixture on it. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Allow the toast to soak in the mix.
  3. Heat a frying pan over low to medium heat and pour oil into it. Place the toast in the pan and cook for 2 minutes on each side, or until it is golden brown. Repeat this process for the remaining slices of toast.
  4. I serve with mixed berries comp and some rice syrup or maple syrup
  5. Enjoy it
