Vegan Dessert | Cheat Cinnamon roll

Hi everyone, How are we going these days? In this post, I would like to share another vegan cheat pastry with you. It is called the Cheat Cinnamon Roll. It is quick, simple, has fewer ingredients and doesn’t spend too much time. I hope you will like it. That’s got cooking.

Ingredient

1 sheet of Vegan Puffy Pastry

20g Cashew nut, roughly crush, leave some chunks will be fine

Filling

25g Maple syrup

15g Dark brown sugar

5g Cinnamon powder

Plant-based milk Wash

A dash of plant-based milk

A splash of maple syrup

Method

  1. Get the vegan puffy pastry, brush maple syrup on the sheet
  2. Mix with dark brown sugar, and cinnamon powder, then sprinkle powder on the sheet.
  3. Generally, sprinkle the cashew nut on top of the sheet.
  4. Roll the pastry up like the sausage roll.
  5. Cut into around 3cm pieces or cut the size you would like to. Transfer to the baking tray
  6. Brush some plant-based milk wash on the edge of a cinnamon roll, and sprinkle more cashew nut, and cinnamon powder around the cinnamon roll.
  7. Bake it at 180c for 20 minutes
  8. Enjoy it.

Note for Cheat Cinnamon roll

  • During the process, I didn’t roll it tightly so when I cut the roll, some pieces started to crumble and it wouldn’t stand properly. The taste is still delicious.
  • I think lightly pressing down to make it tighter.
