Vegan Entree | Grilled King Oyster Mushroom

Hello everyone, how are we these days? Do you know that oyster mushrooms provide dietary fibre and beta-glucan? Also, one cup of oyster mushroom can provide provides 28 calories, 2.9g of protein, 5.2g of carbohydrates, and 0.3g of fat. Most importantly oyster mushroom helps boost health. In this post, I would like to share a vegan entree dish – Grilled King Oyster Mushroom server with Tomato salsa. That’s got cooking!!!

Ingredient for Pan Grilled King Oyster Mushroom

1 king oyster mushroom, thick cut into three pieces, do the criss-cross and seasoning for both sides

Tomato salsa

half of the tomato, diced

Vinaigrette sauce

In general speaking, 3 parts of olive oil and 1 part of balsamic vinegar or lemon juice

eg. 3 tbs of olive oil to 1 tbs of balsamic vinegar. You can adjust it yourself to suit your taste

Method for Grilled King Oyster Mushroom

  1. Get the fried pan on medium-high heat, drizzle some olive oil and place the mushroom on the pan. By this time the mushroom may get curly, make sure to press down the mushroom and cook evenly.
  2. It should take around 3-4 minutes for both side or caramelised colour.
  3. On the serving plate, place the mushroom on the centre of the plate, pour in the tomato salsa on mushroom and around the plate.
  4. You can garnish with basil leaves or kale chip
  5. Enjoy it.

Note

  • When cooking the mushroom, it may get curly, make sure to press down so the mushroom can cook evenly.
